Description
The MI589 Hybrid Innerspring Mattress combines cooling gel-infused memory foam with body-contouring wrapped coils. High-density quilt foam gives the surface a soft, comfortable feel. The mattress ships in a box — just cut away the plastic wrap and unroll it.
Firmness
This is a medium-firmness mattress — not so soft that you sink deep in, but not so firm that you don't feel any give either. It works well for any sleeping position.
Mattress Type
This is a hybrid mattress with a 10" profile height. The top layer is high-density quilt foam, and beneath it sits gel-infused memory foam that gives extra support to the lower back. The base layer is a system of individually wrapped coils, reinforced around the perimeter with 2 rows of 9", 13-gauge pocketed coils for solid edge support. It's compatible with adjustable bed frames.
Textile
The cover is made of flame-retardant polyester comfort fiber — comfortable to the touch while meeting safety requirements.
Packaging
The mattress arrives compressed and packed in a box. Cut away the plastic wrap and unroll it — allow up to 48 hours for it to fully expand. The box spring/foundation is sold separately.
